Our entertainment programme at Penrose Court boasts a variety of remarkable talent that ensures our residents are well and truly having a special experience with us.

We welcome so many different types of entertainment to our home, whether it be brilliant musicians and performers, or a specialist speaker giving an insightful talk. No matter what, our residents will be sure to find something stimulating to immerse themselves in.

The talent level and engagement factor of many of our entertainers is so well-received by our residents that we often invite them back to wow us again.

It is important to us at Penrose Court that our residents always have something to look forward to. We ensure that regular entertainment is incorporated into our weekly schedule as a way to support our residents overall happiness and wellbeing. The artists who visit Penrose Court create an impact on our residents that will last a lifetime. From magnificent vocalists to spectacular tribute acts, they really know how to impress the audience.

No matter the weather, the acts who come to Penrose Court adore performing to our residents. We have previously hosted entertainers to commemorate historical events such as VE Day and to celebrate festive seasons such as Christmas. When we’re not welcoming outside entertainers, we are guaranteeing that our residents are still having fun, whether we’re putting on pub quizzes and snooker tournaments or turning some music on and having a sing-along.

We get entertainers visit us at Penrose Court who travel from across the country just so they can perform to our wonderful residents, and for that we are extremely grateful. We are also very thankful for our regular performers who return year after year. Whether it be in one of our many communal areas or even in our garden on a nice sunny day, our entertainers put on their performances in a variety of places within our home. As a result, we are able to invite the family and friends of our residents to attend and join in with the fun too.

Our entertainment programme ranges from musicians and performers, to magicians and even animals. Whatever sparks your interest, you will be sure to find it at Penrose Court.

It is important to us that we welcome entertainers frequently, and that means scheduling in performances at least once a week, if not more. We value the feedback of our residents and therefore some performers may return more often than others.
