Penrose Court Care Home is looking to appoint a Deputy Manager, who will support the Home Manager with the day-to-day operations of our care home.
Our privately owned care home is situated in the market town of Biggleswade, offering the highest levels of Residential, Dementia, Respite care and Nursing support for up to 65 residents.
For our home to be maintained to an exemplary standard and make sure our residents receive a high quality of care, we believe the Deputy Manager should have the following qualities and experience:
- An RGN / RMN, with strong clinical skills.
- It would be preferable the incoming candidate has already worked as a Deputy Manager (If you are an experienced Senior Nurse and have a positive track record on delivering all points highlighted, please get in touch)
- Worked with the elderly.
- Experienced of leading and managing a team.
- Able to support staff with further training and support.
- Confident to step in for the Home Manager from time to time, ie annual leave.
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Benefits: Pension, Parking & 28 days annual leave
Shifts: Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Full & Part time Day and Night Shifts
Penrose Court prides itself on offering exemplary standards of care and we take an individual, person centred approach to Residential, Respite, Dementia care and whole life Nursing care.
We are looking for committed Care Assistants to join our team to provide high standards of care to our residents promoting independence and enablement.
Ideal candidates should possess a strong “can do” attitude, be able to work as a team member, using their own initiative to enhance the quality of care and support provided, be able to “think outside the box”, focus on innovation, have integrity and strive for excellence.
Experience of working in the care sector is preferred although candidates with no experience but the right attitude will also be considered.
