Ukulele Lessons at Penrose Court Care Home

One evening before Christmas, we were lucky to have a group of performers who played and entertained Penrose Court Care Home, with some joyful music, both our residents, their relatives and our staff members thoroughly enjoyed it!

One of the performers, Sylvia, kindly volunteered to teach our residents how to play the Ukulele.

As of Monday 8th January, 2024, the ukulele lessons started. Sylvia visits our home on Monday afternoons and so far our residents who are taking part are loving it. We're very much looking forward to watching our residents grow with confidence in playing the ukulele.

We love being able to organise activities like this for our residents, this one in particular is great for our residents wellbeing, giving them that extra bit of confidence to learn something new and be able to play an instrument.

If you'd like to take a look at what other activities we put on for our residents, take a look at our activities programme and if you've got any questions about our care home, please get in touch with one of our team members today.
